Refund Policy

TapAway Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Thank you for subscribing to TapAway (“we,” “our,” “us”). We value your business and strive to make every part of our service transparent and fair. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and disputes are handled when using our products and services.

General Policy

All TapAway payments are final and non-refundable once processed. This includes:

  • Monthly subscriptions ($30/month)
  • Yearly subscriptions ($300/year)
  • Any upgrades, add-ons, or renewals

By subscribing to TapAway, you acknowledge and agree that all charges are recurring and non-refundable, even if you stop using the service before the billing cycle ends.

Recurring Billing

TapAway subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly). Your renewal will be charged using the same payment method unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You may cancel at any time through your Stripe customer portal or by contacting support@tapaway.co.

After cancellation, your TapAway Dashboard and cards will automatically deactivate, and no future charges will occur.

No Refunds for Partial Periods

We do not provide refunds or credits for:

  • Partial months of service
  • Unused time on an active subscription
  • Early cancellations
  • Inactivity or lack of results

The moment your payment is processed, your TapAway plan activates and shipping begins immediately — making it non-refundable.

Exceptions for Billing Errors

We will only issue a refund if TapAway made a verifiable billing error, such as:

  • Duplicate charge
  • Incorrect amount billed
  • Accidental renewal after cancellation

If you believe you’ve been billed in error, email tapawaycompany@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge, and our team will review and correct it if applicable.

Physical Product Replacements

All physical TapAway NFC cards come with free lifetime replacements if lost, damaged, or defective. However, this is not considered a refund — your subscription must remain active for cards to stay functional.

We do not refund shipping costs, customization fees, or services already rendered.

Chargebacks and Disputes

By subscribing, you agree not to file chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting TapAway. Filing a dispute without reaching out to us first may result in permanent account termination.

We maintain detailed shipping and account activation records to contest fraudulent chargebacks with Stripe.

Service Cancellation

You can cancel your TapAway subscription at any time by:

  • Logging into your Stripe customer portal, or
  • Emailing support@tapaway.co with “Cancel My Subscription” in the subject line.

Once canceled:

  • Access to your TapAway Dashboard will end immediately.
  • Your TapAway cards will redirect to a “Subscription Ended” page.
  • Your account and data will remain securely stored for up to 60 days before deletion.

Changes to Policy

TapAway may update this Refund Policy at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting at https://www.tapaway.co/refund-policy.
